Google Pixel 6a gets day-one update
The Pixel 6a is finally available in stores. And after unpacking, buyers should have received the first update for the phone. This should then once again have eliminated the last bugs.
Google announced the day-one update for the Pixel 6a, although it doesn't appear to include any major additions. The update brings a new Android security patch, the devices were probably still with the April 2022 patch.
However, the update only seems to bring the June 2022 patch, which is a little disappointing. It's already the end of July, this patch should have been mandatory.
The June 2022 security patch for the Pixel 6a will have software version SD2A.220601.003, Google has announced.
