Android Auto 7.9 will be rolled out

Android Auto is distributed in a new version. After Android Auto was available as a beta in version 7.9 a few days ago, this version is now being finally distributed. The big update with the "Coolwalk" interface is still a long time coming.

The Android Auto 7.9 update is now available for those users who have signed up for the public beta. However, there are no noticeable changes to Android Auto.
