Samsung Galaxy S22 series gets TWRP support

Samsung Galaxy S22 series

Samsung recently released the kernel source codes for the Galaxy S22 series. This allows third parties to create custom ROMs. Now there is unofficial TWRP support for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. TWRP is required for custom ROMs and other device modifications.

The TWRP builds are currently only available for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Exynos models (model number SM-S90xB). The Exynos model bootloader is easier to unlock as support comes directly from Samsung.

Downloading TWRP will cause subsequent OTA updates to be disabled and trigger KNOX, voiding the warranty. There's no way to reverse the situation, so you'll irrevocably lose access to Samsung Pay and other Knox-based features forever.

So if you want to try TWRP, you should know what you are doing. Otherwise it will only bring grief and worry and possibly an unusable device.
