iPhone users relieved: Apple s latest update finally eliminates annoying bugs
Two weeks after the release of iOS 15.4, Apple is again distributing an update for iPhone and iPad users. With iOS 15.4.1, the manufacturer follows up and finally eliminates the annoying battery problems that users had after the previous update. But not only iPhone users are considered with updates.
iOS 15.4.1 released for the iPhone: Apple fixes the battery problem
The latest update to iOS 15.4 for the iPhone not only brought users a whole host of new features, but also new problems. Quite a few users complained about the massively deteriorated battery runtimes. At first, Apple dismissed this and tried to appease with words, but now iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 are making massive improvements and are tackling the problem aggressively. In the package leaflet, this is already addressed in the first point (source: Apple). Problems with Braille and hearing aids are also eliminated. Apple writes:
iOS 15.4.1 contains bug fixes and security updates for iPhone and is recommended for all users.
This update fixes the following bugs on the iPhone:
Battery may drain faster than expected after iOS 15.4 update. Braille devices may become unresponsive when navigating through text or displaying a notice. Made for iPhone hearing aids may lose connection in some third-party apps.Of course, a number of security holes will also be patched , which is why we urgently recommend updating. If you want to install the update immediately, you shouldn't rely on Apple's automatic system, because it will gradually distribute the update in a few days. It is therefore necessary to carry out a manual installation. To do this, we open Settings > General > Software update.
The practical scanning function of the notes app was recently upgraded with iOS 15.4:
More updates for Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and HomePod
But not only iPhone and iPad users are currently being considered for the update. Also released were Apple watchOS 8.5.1 for the Apple Watch and macOS Monterey 12.3.1 for Macs . The latter eliminates possible difficulties with USB-C and Thunderbolt displays and Bluetooth devices. But also Apple TV (tvOS 15.4.1) and the HomePods are provided with new updates.
