Currently free of charge instead of 9.99 euros: iPhone app really brings color into play
At the moment we're saving almost 10 euros, because the "Colorize" app for the iPhone is currently actually free and it keeps what its name promises. The app can color older black-and-white photos afterwards, a job that used to be very time-consuming and difficult. Now it works with a tap of your finger.
Currently free: iPhone app colors photos with artificial intelligence
If you have older black-and-white photos, you can color them in by hand or you can use the "Colorize" app . It takes over the job completely automatically and uses artificial intelligence to do it. The developer promises: "One click and your colorized photo is ready."
Anyone who wanted to try this before had to invest almost 10 euros, but the app is currently available for free in Apple's App Store . Praiseworthy: There are no hidden in-app purchases or any subscriptions in the offer.
Of course, the app is primarily useful for older photos that are scanned and processed on the iPhone. However, the effect also looks very exciting if you apply it to current pictures in black and white - just try it out.
Is the app worth it?
But is the "Colorize" app any good in the end? The current ratings and reviews in the App Store give hope. A pleasing 4.5 out of 5 stars is currently being achieved with 80 reviews - that's something to be proud of. Specifically, a user writes, for example:
" Works pretty well!
I honestly wasn't expecting much, but this app actually works pretty well! I find it works best with pictures of people, but I've colored in some great pictures of my dogs too! Highly recommended!"
Before downloading, please check the price again, because unfortunately we don't know how long the promotion will last:
If you want to use "Colorize", you have to reckon with around 135 MB of storage space and should have at least an iPhone with iOS 13.2. Unfortunately, we don't know how long the app will remain free, so if in doubt, please check the price again before downloading.
