Samsung Galaxy S22 series

The Exynos-powered Samsung Galaxy S22 series has a few issues, and one of them concerns GPS connectivity . For reasons that aren't entirely clear yet, some Galaxy S22 models with the Exynos SoC are reportedly losing GPS connectivity in apps like Google Maps and Waze. Thankfully, Samsung has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix soon.

In the past few weeks, numerous Galaxy S22 customers from Europe - where Samsung sells the Exynos variants - have reported the problem in the official community forums. Now a Samsung moderator has consolidated all of these complaints into a single thread and posted a response.

The Samsung community moderator confirmed that Samsung has recognized the GPS issue on the Exynos-based Galaxy S22 models. The company is working on a solution that will be distributed "soon".
