Google Pixel 7 is set to get a smaller screen
The Google Pixel 7 isn't expected to launch until this fall, but rumors are already swirling about it. This time around, Ross Young, an analyst at DSCC, has confirmed that the Pixel 7 may be slightly smaller - 6.3" versus the Pixel 6's 6.4" display.
Another exciting bit of info that Young mentioned in his tweet is that the display will begin shipping in May. That's a month earlier than last year. That could mean one (or both) of two things. The Pixel 7 could launch sooner than the usual mid to late October time frame. Or that Google is planning to produce more devices this year, so deliveries will have to start earlier.
Young is the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, so he has a lot of information about displays for upcoming devices. And he's never been wrong about these displays.
The Pixel 7 Pro, on the other hand, will remain the same size as the Pixel 6 Pro with a 6.7″ display. It will likely still be a curved display.
