Google Pixel 6a with Tensor SoC is scheduled to be presented on July 28th
Google is preparing to launch its next Pixel series smartphone and this time it will be a budget version of Pixel 6 series called Google Pixel 6a.
A new report, originating from Jon Prosser, claims that Google could launch the Pixel 6a on July 28th. He says the device would be officially announced at the upcoming Google I/O 2022 in May, but the launch has been postponed.
The Google Pixel 6a is reportedly codenamed "Bluejay" and will come in three color options - black, white and green.
As for the specs, previous leaks have indicated that the smartphone will have a 6.2″ OLED display and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Similar to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, this device will also be powered by the Google Tensor chipset and will have 128GB of internal storage.
In the camera department, the well-known 12.2 MP Sony IMX363 primary sensor will be used, as well as a 12 MP Sony IMX355 ultra wide-angle lens.
