Android 13: Smartphones and tablets get turbo mode

While Android 12 arrives as an update on more and more smartphones and tablets, Google is already working hard on Android 13. Some details about the next major update have already been leaked. It has now been announced that Google will integrate a turbo mode there. This should have a positive effect, especially when playing.

Android 13: Turbo mode planned for games

With Android 13, Google will integrate some innovations. So far, it has mostly been about operation and further adjustments. Now it has been announced that Google wants to integrate a mode that detects when a game is running and then releases more power. This could result in games loading faster and running smoother (source: @MishaalRahman).

More and more manufacturers are building special gaming smartphones and tablets that are better suited for gaming. Google may have spotted the trend and geared Android 13 a little more towards it. So far, the manufacturers themselves have been getting the maximum out of their devices . In some cases, a special cooling system is even integrated, which better keeps the heat development in check when playing. With the new feature in Android 13, the loading of games could be significantly accelerated, so you can gamble and get into the game faster.

The new function should not only be beneficial for owners of Pixel smartphones. It is natively integrated into Android 13 and should therefore be available to all manufacturers. In the end, not only gaming devices could benefit from this, but also normal smartphones and tablets. This function has not yet been officially confirmed.

What has changed with Android 12:

Android 13: First test version coming soon

We won't have to wait too long for a first test version. A first version of Android 13 should soon be available for download for selected developers. At that point at the latest, the new operating system will be broken down into its individual parts and we will find out what else will change. Until then, we hope Android 12 will reach more and more people as an update.
