Xiaomi cell phone: New price-performance hit much more expensive than expected
Xiaomi will probably soon bring its price-performance hits from the Redmi Note 11 series, which were already presented in China, to Europe. It was actually expected that our prices would be very attractive again. According to the latest information, it doesn't look like that at all. But there is an alternative - and it also comes from Xiaomi.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 is said to be quite expensive
With the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+, Xiaomi introduced new mid-range smartphones in China not too long ago. We are already eagerly waiting for the market launch in Germany, as we expected that it would cost just as little as its predecessor. If you want to believe the information from MySmartPrice, then the normal Redmi Note 11 will cost us a lot more than we thought . The following prices should apply in Europe:
Redmi Note 11 with 4 GB and 64 GB of internal memory for 250 euros Redmi Note 11 with 4 GB and 128 GB of internal memory for 290 euros Redmi Note 11 with 8 GB and 128 GB of internal memory for 330 eurosThat would not only be much higher prices than in China, where Xiaomi charges the equivalent of around 160 euros for the medium configuration, but also much more than the predecessor, which came onto the market for 180 euros in Europe. The Redmi Note 11 is said to be equipped with a weaker processor and only with a 4G modem instead of 5G. We did expect higher prices for Europe, but not that much higher and then with a technical downgrade.
There is a special edition of the Redmi Note 10 Pro+:
Cheap alternative from Xiaomi itself
Now Xiaomi has countless smartphones on offer and with the Poco M4 Pro 5G they have basically already launched the Redmi Note 11, which we actually expected to be a Xiaomi smartphone (check it out at Amazon). So even if Xiaomi launches the new Redmi smartphones in Germany at much higher prices, you can still use a Poco model. They are correspondingly cheaper.
