Galaxy S21 Ultra defeated: Another Samsung smartphone is ahead in the camera duel

The Galaxy S21 Ultra is the crown jewel in Samsung's smartphone range. In an important camera comparison, of all things, the top model has to admit defeat to another Samsung smartphone that is not even a classic flagship.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 beats Galaxy S21 Ultra in camera ranking

With 124 points, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was able to place itself in front of the Galaxy S21 Ultra (source: DxOMark). The distance between the two Samsung smartphones is not earth-shattering and is only one point, but the better placement of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is remarkable - after all , this is a folding smartphone and not a classic flagship like the Galaxy S21 Ultra .

With the Galaxy Z Fold 3 , Samsung has to make some compromises due to the design , because all components have to be constructed around the foldable display. Many components are custom-made, which are thinner and lighter, for example, so that the weight of the folding cell phone is not too high.
