Samsung was the first manufacturer to release the October 2021 security update. Now the South Korean company has announced details of the October 2021 security patch. As the company announced, the security update October 2021 fixes 68 data protection and security-relevant vulnerabilities. In addition to all the patches provided by Google, the Security Maintenance Release also contains 32 SVEs (Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures) in the Samsung software. It also contains bug fixes for six critical vulnerabilities and 24 highly dangerous vulnerabilities.
The October 2021 security patch has already been implemented for the Galaxy A8 (2018), Galaxy A50, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 +, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 FE 5G, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 +, Galaxy S21 Ultra , Galaxy Tab Active 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 released.
More Galaxy smartphones and tablets are likely to receive this security patch in the next few days and weeks.
