{Disarmed} Redmi K50 will be presented in December 2021

A few days ago, the first information about the upcoming Redmi K50 series made the rounds on the Internet. Presumably there will be 3 model variants of the device, about which new information has now been announced. As suspected, the Redmi K50 will be presented later this year.

More information about the upcoming Redmi K50 series has surfaced on Weibo in China. Accordingly, the Redmi K50 will appear with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The other two models, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro +, on the other hand, should appear with the not yet presented Qualcomm Snapdragon 898.

The Redmi K50 should be equipped with three triple cameras on the back. The main sensor is the 64 MP OmniVision OV64B with a pixel size of 0.7 μm, a 1 / 2.0-inch format and an f / 1.7 aperture. Incidentally, the Redmi K50 Pro should also be equipped with the OV64B. In contrast, the Redmi K50 Pro + will use a 108 MP main camera.

Allegedly, Xiaomi is aiming for a release date in December 2021 for the Redmi K50 series. For the Redmi K50, I think this date is realistic, but since the Redmi K50 Pro and the K50 Pro + should be equipped with the SD898, I am guessing a release in early 2022.
