{Disarmed} Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro: Mega-Leak shows lots of new press photos, the new Live Space, Face Unlock and more
Evan Blass aka @evleaks struck, and powerful! Because on Twitter he has now shared a lot of promo material for the upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro from Google. These show not only the new smartphones, but also the new Pixel booth and many other exciting news.
In June there were already the first indications for "Live Space", and now there are many more images of the updated "At a Glance" widget that is integrated into the Pixel Launcher. However, this will probably only be available in the USA for the time being.
It seems that third-party apps can now appear there too. A screenshot shows a "running activity" from an Adidas app that notes the elapsed time and the distance (walked). Finally, we see a regular calendar appointment with the event title and time period, followed by the weather.
In addition to a fingerprint sensor under the display, which is indicated by an icon on the lock screen, the Pixel 6 will again have a face unlock. There doesn't seem to be any special hardware (IR), so Google probably just uses the front camera and software for it.
Here are all the new pictures that Evan Blass has published on Twitter:
