{Disarmed} Official: Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be unveiled on October 19th
It's finally official! Google will present the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro on October 19th. The date shouldn't come as a surprise now, as it has been suspected for weeks. Well, now Google has finally officially let the cat out of the bag.
The long-awaited phones to be released later this year finally have an official announcement date and it's ... the one unofficially revealed by an infamous leaker more than a month ago.
Android purists who initially didn't believe Front Page Tech's Jon Prosser can now circle their calendars on October 19th as the big day for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro without hesitation. Because Google has finally made it official. But why not before?
Of course, the two devices are unlikely to go on sale right after their launch event. If we want to believe Prosser again this time, we have to wait until the end of the month. October 28 is under discussion, let's be surprised.
The new chip and the new software should be exciting. Google will then definitely use the opportunity again and then present Android 12 in more detail. I'm looking forward to it.
