MediaTek Dimensity 1000

A new report has revealed interesting details about the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 2000 SoC. Apparently, the chip will come out with big energy efficiency improvements that would allow it to beat even the next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 processor.

According to a report by MyDrivers, the Taiwanese chipmaker is preparing to launch the new Dimensity 2000 at the end of this year or early 2022 at the earliest. The new 5G chip should be significantly more efficient and consume much less electricity. It should even be more energy efficient than the upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC. from Qualcomm.

According to reports, the difference between the two chips is said to be around 20 to 25 percent, in favor of the MediaTek processor. In addition, in addition to energy efficiency, the overall performance of the chip should also be improved. According to the report, the new Dimensity 2000 chips are being improved so much that they should be considered for flagship smartphones.
