Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE presented: Samsung Galaxy A52 gets new competition
Xiaomi goes a step further: The Mi 11 Lite gets a new version with the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. This means that Samsung's Galaxy A52 has a tough competitor in front of its nose, because the Chinese manufacturer is also upgrading the processor, in particular, and is indirectly attacking the Galaxy A52s 5G.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE with a faster processor
With the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, a new edition of the popular Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite will soon appear in Germany. The "Mi" was deleted from the name, but Xiaomi added the 5G NE. Interestingly, the Chinese company doesn't explain what NE stands for. Let's assume New Edition . Visually, hardly anything changes with the new edition. Only new colors are offered, including the white version, which has a slight glint.
Technically, there is an important innovation: Xiaomi relies on the fast Snapdragon 778-5G processor for the 11 Lite 5G NE, which is still supported by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Otherwise, it stays with the 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 90 Hz and the very thin and light design. At only 6.81 mm and 158 grams, the mobile phone hardly weighs anything. The battery is still not too small with 4,250 mAh and can be quickly recharged with 33 watts. A power supply is of course included.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE also features a 64 MP main camera , which is supposed to make photography and filming easier with a new AI function. There is also an ultra wide angle and a macro camera. Xiaomi does without a telephoto lens. This means that the phone competes directly against the Samsung Galaxy A52, but it is not waterproof. Samsung's Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A52s 5G also have 120 Hz displays. So Xiaomi is making an interesting compromise here.
Xiaomi no longer only builds smartphones, as you can see in the following video :
