Lenovo wants to play in the upper class of the tablet market. With the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro, the Chinese company has now presented an Android tablet that has some special hardware and software functions. One wants to attack Samsung and Apple with it. But the Android tablet also has its price.

Lenovo Tab P12 Pro costs 899 euros

If you don't want to buy a tablet from Apple or Samsung, you will soon get an interesting alternative from Lenovo. The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is a premium class Android tablet. It is equipped with a bright 12.6-inch AMOLED display in 16:10 format , which operates at 120 Hz and has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. Handwritten entries can be made using an optionally available stylus. The optionally available keyboard cover transforms the tablet into a laptop.

The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm , which has up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded using a microSD card. You have the option of choosing a 5G modem. The large battery should provide a runtime of up to 17 hours and can be charged quickly. This works with up to 45 watts, whereby Lenovo only includes a 30 watt power supply. Otherwise there is of course WiFi, Bluetooth, a fingerprint sensor and cameras with up to 13 MP.

Android 11 is used as the operating system, whereby Lenovo will also offer updates for the Tab P12 Pro. Project Unity is sure to be a highlight. You can combine your Lenovo PC with Windows and the Lenovo tablet with Android and work with them seamlessly . So you can also access Windows programs on the Android tablet and work on it with the pen, for example. The connection is extremely easy to set up and secured by a PIN. Windows 10 and Windows 11 are supported. The range of functions will be expanded over time.

Lenovo Tab P12 Pro soon available in Germany

The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro will be available in Germany at the end of October and beginning of November 2021, initially in the WiFi version for 899 euros. A 5G variant will also appear later. Project Unity is free and will soon be available for download from the Google Play Store.
