The Sony Xperia 1 II now gets the August 2021 update. The new security update with the designation 58.1.A.5.395 is now available for users to download.

Sony has raised the build version to version number 58.1.A.5.395. Sony has again not released a changelog, making it difficult to find out what has changed. It can be assumed that these are small performance improvements and bug fixes.

The update is once again not exactly small at 312.5 MB, you should perhaps switch on WiFi for downloading. And of course, as always, back up your personal data beforehand.

As always, this firmware update with the August 2021 patch 58.1.A.5.395 will be distributed in waves to the users, the update should then reach all Sony Xperia 1 II users in the next hours and days.
