{Disarmed} Oppo confirms: tablets and foldables are coming
Oppo has long been rumored that the manufacturer will soon introduce a tablet. When the company unveiled ColorOS 12 powered by Android 12, it showed that the latest version of its user interface is compatible with a variety of form factors, including tablets and foldable devices. Today one of the company's top managers officially confirmed the manufacturer's tablets and foldables.
The "Responsive Design" of ColorOS 12 adapts to different form factors.
At a partner summit, Liu Bo, Vice President of Oppo and President of Oppo China, announced the company's plans for high-end products, IoT products and the eCommerce strategy.
According to a report from Sina Technology, the manager confirmed that his company will launch its first tablet in the first half of 2022. It has also been confirmed that Oppo will also launch "multi-form smartphone products". In other words, the company will develop foldable devices. Unfortunately, there was no precise schedule for their publication.
Last year, the tech giant unveiled a foldable concept smartphone called the Oppo X 2021 . He even announced a three-fold concept smartphone that was designed in collaboration with the Japanese design company "nendo".
Eventually, Oppo will continue to launch new products in various IoT product categories such as wireless headphones, fitness trackers, smartwatches, smart TVs and more.
