{Disarmed} OnePlus 9 series firmware update brings XPan mode [OxygenOS 11.2.9.9]
OnePlus is now distributing a new software update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The new software update is called OxygenOS 11.2.9.9. The fresh software build brings the latest security patch from September 2021 and XPan mode to the devices.
The XPan mode was jointly developed by OnePlus and Hasselblad to reproduce the classic Hasselblad XPan experience on a smartphone. When a user opens the new XPan mode, the image is displayed in black and white by default. Of course, the new mode also offers the option of taking pictures with color, as the user can choose between two focal lengths, 30 mm and 45 mm.
The photos taken with the XPan mode activated will look unique as they have an aspect ratio of 65:24, a completely different format than the usual 3: 2 and 4: 3 or 16: 9 image formats.
