{Disarmed} OnePlus 9 Pro: International version with ColorOS 12 appeared
OnePlus has integrated its research and development (R&D) team and a few other teams into its sister company Oppo to streamline operations. The company claimed that the integration would help improve the user experience. The merger was officially ended a few days ago.
In the future, OnePlus and Oppo will publish a uniform OS. This could then be based on ColorOS 12. It looks like the beta version of the device is already being tested on the current OnePlus flagships. A live image of the OnePlus 9 Pro, on which the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 is running, has been spotted in the wild.
The device, which bears the model number LE2121, is the international version of the OnePlus 9 Pro. The device's settings page reveals that the phone has 12 GB of RAM and is running ColorOS 12, which is based on Android 12.
However, it looks like OnePlus is already testing the ColorOS 12 update on some international models. The OnePlus 9 Pro that was spotted testing the ColorOS 12 update is likely an Indonesian device. OxygenOS will probably no longer be available as an Android 12 update, most likely it will then be released with ColorOS 12.
There is still no information about the official rollout of Android 12 for the OnePlus models.
