{Disarmed} HTC A100 tablet presented in Russia
An HTC tablet was spotted in the Google Play Console early last month. The device has now been officially launched in Russia as the HTC A100 and offers mid-range features at a price of less than 300 US dollars.
The HTC A100 has a 10.1 ″ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The screen is housed in an aluminum housing with rounded corners. The bezels around the display aren't huge, but they're not particularly slim either. However, they are of the same thickness on all sides.
For its first tablet in years, HTC opted for the UNISOC Tiger T618, the same chipset we've seen in phones like the Axon 20 4G and the Blade V30 from ZTE. The 12 nm processor has an 8-core CPU made up of two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz , composed. It also has a Mali G52 MP2 GPU.
The processor is paired with 8 GB DDR3 RAM and 128 GB storage space. There is a microSD card slot that allows the user to add up to 256GB of additional storage space. The tablet also supports two SIM cards via its hybrid SIM slot.
There are two cameras on the back of the HTC A100 - a 13 MP main camera and a 2 MP camera. It also has a 5 MP front camera for video calls. There are two speaker grilles on the bottom, and an audio jack on the same side as the SIM tray and USB-C port. The tablet has a battery capacity of 7,000 mAh and runs on Android 11.
The HTC A100 is already available in Russia at a price of ₽ 19,990, which is equivalent to around EUR 232.00. It is currently unknown whether the tablet will be announced in other regions as well.
