TicWatch Pro 3 appears with Snapdragon Wear 4100
Already at the end of August there were first indications that the TicWatch Pro 3 from Mobvoi could be equipped with the Snapdragon Wear 4100. This has now been confirmed.
Now another retailer has confirmed almost all specifications and functions of the upcoming Wear OS smartwatch for the upcoming TicWatch Pro 3.
The Malaysian dealer Shopee (meanwhile removed) now gives us perhaps the best look at the TicWatch Pro 3. Of course, it also mentions the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100 chipset, which has an 85% increase in CPU performance and a 150% increase the GPU performance should offer.
Furthermore, the watch should have 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage, a large battery with 595 mAh and also be a bit lighter at just under 42 g. NFC is also on board.
There will also be a handful of new health functions that Mobvoi is adding to its "TicHealth" suite. These include "TicOxygen", an app that can record SpO2 / blood oxygen levels, "TicZen" that processes HRV data to monitor stress levels, and "TicHearing" that can monitor noise levels. "TicPulse", "TicSleep", "TicExercise" and "TicBreathe" are all returning as well.
The Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 is expected to hit the market next week on September 24th and will cost the equivalent of around EUR 227.00.
