Nokia unveils its Android 11 update roadmap

HMD Global has not yet fully completed the rollout of Android 10, but now its update plans for Android 11 have already been presented, albeit accidentally.

The Nokia 3.1 and 5.1 have not yet received the latest Android version. Nevertheless, the manufacturer is already planning internally with the Android 11 release for its smartphone models.

In a tweet from Nokia Mobile's Twitter account, which has since been deleted, the company set out its plans to roll out the update on supported devices by the second quarter of 2021.

The update is to be rolled out for the devices that were released in the last two years and with Android 9 Pie. A large number of Nokia models should therefore get the update to Android 11.

Of course, well-known models such as the Nokia 8 Sirocco and the original Nokia 1 will no longer be updated.

Presumably, HMD Global will officially report in the next few days and officially present the Android 11 roadmap.
