Xiaomi s Mi Notebook 14 series was launched in India

Xiaomi has just launched its first laptop series in India. The previously rumored Mi Notebook series, titled RedmiBook, is an independent series with distinctive features that will enter the market with a great pricing strategy - with which the Chinese tech giant is known.

Xiaomi version of Mi Notebook 14 Horizon

The Horizon version of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 is the entrance to this popular group of lightweight and portable ultrabooks. Xiaomi has become a new norm in the professional sector of India, offering products that specifically meet the high demand for portable personal computers. In other words, this new laptop with impressive specifications, while being slim and light, has a number of suitable features.


Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 Horizon version is made in such a way that it has a small design and a premium metallic. This laptop is light and weighs only 1.35 kg. As the name implies, it has a 14-inch FHD Horizon display with thin bezels on both sides and a 91% screen-to-body ratio. The notebook has a switch keyboard, stereo speakers, USB 3 ports and a multi-touch touchpad.

Its display comes with an anti-glare coating for ease of use at night. This laptop comes in two types. The higher-end model, the Horizon version of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14, has a Core i7 10th Gen Intel processor, while the cheaper version uses a Core i5 10th Gen processor. According to Xiaomi, this laptop can work with a single charge for up to 10 hours, and its 65W charger can charge the device from 0 to 50% in 35 minutes.

The second model has 512 GB of SATA SSD memory and 8 GB of RAM, while the top version has 512 GB of PCI Express Gen 3 NVMe SSD and 8 GB of RAM. Significantly, both models will support the NVIDIA GeForce MX350 mobile graphics card, which offers a great gaming experience on lightweight laptops. The laptops run on Windows 10 and come with a free Microsoft 365 Office for a month.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 Laptop

The base model of the Mi  Notebook is an inexpensive laptop from Xiaomi. This version also has a 14-inch Horizon display with FHD resolution and a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. This device comes in three different models with a base version of 256 GB SATA SSD. Higher priced models include a SATA SSD with 512GB of memory. Both models feature integrated Intel UHD graphics, while the entire series supports 10th generation Intel Core i5 processors.

The most premium base version of the Mi Notebook 14 includes 512GB of SATA SSD memory along with the NVIDIA MX250 mobile GPU, which should provide good gaming performance. All models have 8GB of RAM and an HD webcam. Similar to the Horizon version, the base model also has a multi-touch touchpad, a scissor switch keyboard and similar ports such as the HDMI and USB 3 ports.

Price and time of supply

Xiaomi has announced the total price of this laptop line. The opening prices of Mi Notebook 14 to July 16, 2020 are:
