Android distribution: Finally there is a monthly overview
It was always nice to see how the distribution of the individual Android versions on the devices was made up. But then suddenly Google stopped this overview. To date, it is not known exactly why.
There was some guesswork, because these distributions every month from new ones showed that a new version of Android had an extremely difficult time getting through. The problem of Android fragmentation became apparent again every month.
But now there is an overview of the Android distribution, even with its own page. However, these are only intended for developers. But since you can access the page as normal, everyone else can also find out about it.
From now on you can now see the numbers on this unofficial page . There they are published by Google with a graphic.
And so you can see that Android 9 Pie is in first place with 31.30 percent, followed by Android 8 Oreo with 21.30 percent, Android 7 Nougat with 12.90 percent, Android 6 Marshmallow with 11.20 percent, then The current Android 10 comes in 5th place with only 8.20 percent.
