What should you cover your mouth and nose with?
Pursuant to the ordinance, mouth and nose should be covered with clothing or parts of it, a mask or mask
Do I have to remove the mask when I am authorized to do so?
YES. There is a provision in the regulation that if a person is identified in order to establish their identity by authorized bodies, they may be required to discover their mouth and nose.
Who does the mask really protect?
Every simple mask, e.g. a surgical mask or a hand-made mask, protects first of all those around us, significantly reducing the virus discharge outside if we are carriers. In other words, it serves more so that we do not infect others than us, that we do not become infected.
Are allergy sufferers and asthmatics also obliged to cover their mouths and nose?
Asthmatics who are treating their disease should not experience difficulties when wearing the mask.
Allergy sufferers should especially wear face masks, but should continue to use their medications so that they do not have allergy symptoms. Allergy causes the reflex to wipe the eyes, nose or mouth, which increases the risk of coronavirus infection. For this reason, allergy sufferers should use thinner masks, preferably disposable.
How to apply and remove the mask correctly?
This is best explained by the graphics presented by the Ministry of Health.
How to care for a reusable mask?
After removing the mask, we do not put it on the table, chair or desk, but put it in a plastic bag, and after reaching the house we throw it directly into the washing machine. If the mask does not require washing yet, it should be disinfected by spraying with e.g. alcohol solution (min. 70% and wait for it to dry).
At what temperature wash the masks?
Viruses give up at a temperature of 60-70 degrees Celsius, so we must wash them with the addition of detergent at a temperature of at least 60, and preferably 90 degrees. After washing and drying, iron them using the maximum iron temperature (min. 100-110 degrees).
