Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Beans? Samsung s new headphones look like beans
The Galaxy Buds + set barely hit the stores, and the renders of the new Samsung wireless headphones fly around the network. The company could call them Galaxy Beans. They resemble beans.
Galaxy Buds is a very successful product from the Samsung portfolio. Wireless headphones competing directly with AirPods from Apple have this year also a new version called Galaxy Buds +. This model went on sale with Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra phones.
Galaxy Buds + from 2020, however, are no different from the Galaxy Buds released a year ago for specifically in appearance. This does not mean, however, that Samsung has no ace up its sleeve. A completely new set with a radically different design compared to its predecessors may appear on sale later this year.
The Internet has already succeeded the successor of Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds + as Galaxy Beans.
This did not happen for a reason, of course. Renders that have appeared on the WinFuture website, present an unannounced yet officially set in which earphones have a very characteristic shape. In addition, Samsung himself chose the word bean for them, which means beans.
At one end of the bean headphones you can see a miniature speaker with a microphone, and at the other - charging contacts. Another microphone was placed on the other side. The software by analyzing the sound of both of them will have to deal with shaping the voice of the holder from the sounds of the environment.
Unlike its predecessors and AirPods, the new Samsung headphones will not stick out at all. Instead, they will hide in them entirely. You also don't see any silicone plugs or even plastic frames that would stiffen the structure.
It seems, however, that we will wait a bit longer for a Samsung wireless set with active noise reduction.
Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds + are competitors for AirPods, but not for AirPods Pro. Unlike the new set in the Apple offer, Samsung products from this line do not offer support for ANC, i.e. active noise reduction. The new set, i.e.Galaxy Beans, probably won't offer it either.
The new headphones that are currently being tested do not have any silicone cover that would isolate the inside of the ear from the surroundings and it is hard to imagine that ANC is in them. As for the release date, it is not yet known. However, we expect a debut this fall with the Galaxy Note 20.
