"Good morning, can you get this OLX couch today?" - no more similar emails
"Good morning, can you get that OLX couch today?" You'll see less of these nightmares in your inbox, as long as the sender uses Gmail. AI will help.
Auto-correction when writing a text is not perfect, but it can be very helpful. Most often we use it on a smartphone, because small keyboards are conducive to making mistakes. On the other hand, on the computer we use the error highlighting system more often, although in some applications - e.g. in Word - autocorrection can remove a typo by itself.
Gmail introduces autocorrecting when writing emails. AI will support him
Gmail is introducing a new spelling and grammar correction mechanism . When you write an email, the words with a typo will be underlined in red and grammatical errors will be marked in blue. More importantly, Gmail will also use auto-correction for the most common errors, so that incorrect words can be automatically replaced with the correct words.
Google's mechanism works based on machine learning algorithms, so it gets better with every email you write. As Google can scan our emails, it has enough data to learn.
The novelty initially goes to G Suite users
G Suite users can now benefit from the new spelling improvement system. However, this is only the beginning, because the new product will ultimately also reach the end user in the free plan.
Currently, the system works in English, but you can expect that Gmail will soon support more languages. Who would implement it if not Google? After all, this company has developed the best voice assistant, which correctly recognizes Polish. And since we have succeeded with the spoken language, the written one will be a much smaller challenge. The more that Google has experience with Polish language auto-correction, e.g. in the Gboard keyboard.
