Samsung decided to increase the screen surface, although the dimensions of both smartphones were virtually unchanged with respect to last year's models. Samsung Galaxy S10 has a screen size of 5.8 inches, and the Galaxy S10 + has up to 6.1 inches. This was achieved thanks to the smaller frames and the use of an island with a front camera that resembles a hole in the screen.

The smartphone frame is made of aluminum series 7000, and the rear wall is glass or ceramics in the highest variants Galaxy S10 +. Smartphones meet the IP68 standard.

The new screens are called Dynamic AMOLED and feature HDR10 + support with dynamic color mapping and a remarkable brightness of 800 nits.

In each variant, the memory capacity can be expanded using microSD cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB, which means that in the top version we can have 1.5 TB of data space! All variants are powered by the latest 8-core Samsung Exynos 9820 processor made in 8 nm lithography.

In terms of wireless connectivity, all variants support LTE category 20, Wi-Fi in the latest ax standard, Bluetooth 5.0 and ANT +. There was also a USB type C and a headphone jack. There is also a heart rate monitor on board.

A novelty in Galaxy S10 + is the cooling chamber for components. The smaller S10 uses a heat-conducting tube that dissipates heat. Both smartphones have stereo speakers with the AKG logo and support Dolby Atmos in the appropriate headphones. Smartphones are equipped with Android 9.0 Pie with a new One UI overlay, which has been optimized for thumb operation.

Smartphones are recorded in 4K, as well as in 960 fps HD Super Slow Motion mode. It's interesting to record video with 10-bit depth.

When it comes to front cameras, the galaxy S10 has a single lens with autofocus and f / 1.9 light and a Dual Pixel 10 MP sensor. Galaxy S10 + has an additional module responsible for depth detection. It has a resolution of 8 MP, autofocus, and the lens has a brightness of f / 2.2.
